Omo Ada by Medikal and Shatta Wale has been selected on a BBC entertainment program.
The song took the number 2 slot in the top 5 songs selected by the host of the show.
Omo Ada also featured Medikal’s girlfriend, Fella Makafui One of the trending songs on the Ghanaian airwaves at the moment, Omo Ada, has been selected in the top 5 songs on BBC 1Xtra show.
The song by rapper Medikal, featuring his girlfriend Fella Makafui and Shatta Wale took the number two slot in the selection.
The number one slot was taken by Kenyan rapper Rabbit King, followed by Medikal and Shatta Wale, from Ghana.
The third slot was occupied by Prince Kaybee, South African musician, followed by Nigerian singer Yemi Alade and Rick Ross; then Tanzania’s Diamond Platnumz, for the fifth slot.
This is definitely going to be a big one for Medikal, because it contributed to his winning two awards at the recently held 2019 VGMA.
Medikal was adjudged Rapper of the Year and Hiphop/hiplife artiste of the year. Omo Ada, which literally means “They have slept”, was originally composed by Medikal to mock his former girlfriend Deborah Vanessa after they broke up and Fella Makafui took over.
Meanwhile, there is said to be friction in their relationship due to their recent social media actions. But Medikal and Fella have debunked their separation rumors with a video of them having fun together.
