Ghanaian artists use Albums to dump their trashy songs; Vocalist, MzAnda

A post sighted on Mz Anda's twitter page on Friday, 28th May 2021 suggests that some Ghanaian artists would rather compile together songs they see not "good" enough to be released as a single and release them as an album. It further suggested most of these songs lack concepts, weak lyrics and have low quality in terms of production.

If you can't release it as a single don't put it on an Album 😒
Tired of artist using albums as a place to dump trash songs

Fighting to put Ghana out there yet we keep producing mediocre works

Weak lyrics, no concepts, bad prod.

The vocalist further explained that this goes a long way to affect the image Ghana is projecting in the international front.

Using Sarkodie's Mary album as a yard stick she encourage a lot more work to be done by artists in album production.
